House Armed Services Committee leaders this weekend said they are seeking “full accounting” of an early September U.S. military attack against an alleged drug-trafficking boat in the Caribbean after a report alleged that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered U.

The American negotiators who plan to attend the talks are Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Steve Witkoff, a special envoy for the president; and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and a businessman who does some international diplomacy for Mr. Trump.

U.S. News and World Report released its list of the Best Places to Live in Florida for 2025-2026. Parkland, a town in northern Broward County, was ranked as the number one best place to live. The top ten list includes cities from across the state, such as Palm Harbor, Jupiter, Pensacola, and Naples.

Pensacola managed to land on three of U.S. News and World Report's Best Places lists, including the No. 8 best place to live in Florida.
